Sportsmanship

December 9, 2010

Sportsmanship is when your teammates/ opponents and coaches treat each other the way everyone would like to be treated, respectfully. parents can also help their children to have good sportsmanship and understanding it.I think this is very important because if you would want to get treated well, then i suggest you learn to have good manners and have a good attitude. Having   good manners and  attitude  is something you can bring to your sport and to everyone.  sportsmanship is what really counts, cheating or anything that fall in that section is pretty much FAILURE.  in this example you can see the guy in the green helping the other person get up respectfully. this other example is what bad sportsmanship is. this pic is showing the guy in the blue kicking the hell out of the other guy in the face, ouch!.. i think  the coach of this team has not tough them well enough and ,  has tough them to be aggressive  and to show now mercy.  but they forget the #1 thing, respecting yourself’ and others.  something i believe they do is shake hands with opponents before the game starts, which is another example of good sportsmanship.
